Miss Southern Wisconsin
2008
Eligibility Requirements:
a. To be eligible to compete in the Miss Southern Wisconsin pageant, a contestant may qualify by either living (previous one year from the date of the pageant); or, working full-time (previous one year from the date of the pageant); or, by attending school full-time (previous one year from the date of the pageant) in Milwaukee or Waukesha County.
b. She must also be at least 17 years old by the date of the pageant (and a High School graduate by June 16th of this year), and no more than 24 years old by September 30th of this year.
c. She must be a U.S. citizen and hold a valid driver's license.
Prizes:
Miss Southern Wisconsin wins a scholarship to the college or university of her choice, an official local crown, crown pin, and flowers. She competes in the Miss Wisconsin Pageant in Oshkosh in June and may spend a year representing her title at local events.
The Miss Wisconsin Pageant offers additional opportunities to win scholarship money in various categories including talent, swimsuit, evening gown, academic achievement, community service, Spirit of Miss America, and Glady Award (congeniality).
